Before I end my last blogging for the month of August, I just needed to post what's been happening this past week - It was a very exciting week.
First, I finished my first moebius scarf project.
I used a Kid Mohair yarn, this can use as a wrap and scarf/with hood.
The technique I used is a chainless foundation, (see photo above) I used this technique so it will fit across my chest. After doing the chainless foundation, I twist the chains and connect the last chain to the beginning chain. So that I don't need to twist the finish scarf after doing all the stitches. I used double crochet stitch on the entire scarf as for the edging I used shells stitches.
I will try to post a video or photo on how to do the foundationless chain next month.
Second, I got my ravelry invitation, and started compiling all my files and plans for my crochet & knitting projects [on ravelry] like crazy, lol. Go check out Ravelry. This is one cool site for crocheter or knitter or both. I'm sure you'll gonna like it. However as of now the site is still on a testing mode, and you need to ask for an invitation to use the site as testers..so if you're interested, just give your email address and wait for an invitation.
Third, my Starbucks Bottle Carrier pattern has been added as link in one of co-crocheter member's free pattern site. http://www.myhq.com/public/c/r/crochetpoet/ - under Pouches, Cases & Covers. Thanks Norma.
Last, My current WIP is a Filet-like table center project from DMC.
