and it started...

so much stuff in my head, kids will soon go back to school, (June) and me, will be spending a lot of time at home. been feeling quite low these few days, but still able to manage my knitting, lately been bitten again by a knitting bug, and I can't put my needles down.

I just finish a test knit socks by Nicole Montgomery.  I feel bad about this socks, as I was very late in submitting this, had several issues happening at home and at work, and some computer problem stuff.  But still I get to finished this one.  I love the pattern, it's great for beginners who want to learn how to do cable knitting.  No need to check the pattern every so often as the pattern is easy to memorize, you can even bring this with you while you're commuting.

I just had a problem with the W&T short row heel, I kept having holes, so I decided to use the Double Stitch Short Row heel by Tess knits instead.

I also did a fast knitting last night, I used what's left on the socks I did, and still have enough to make another booties if ever I want to make another one, it's a Mary Jane booties.  A very pleasant to knit, a good diversion from all that's been buzzing in my head.  I so love this one!

I also made some water bottle cozy for my daughter and for the Mr. I hope it will serve it's purpose :D (didn't manage to take photos, will try to get them one of these days).
