Abbie's Art Work - it took her several days to finish this, and just have to post.
We had the chance to spend time in Al Kraidees Farm last Friday, organized by Abbie's School FuGen (Future Generation Philippine International School). The meeting place was at the school [where else?], and the convoy is suppose to left the school ground at exactly 6am, but we started late, probably around 6:30 already.
Personally I enjoy the [not so long] drive, it took us 1hr [cruising speed of 100km/hr] to reach the farm.
Upon entering, you see dates nursery, and on the center of the farm you will see a man-made lake or rather a man-made pond, where ducks are swimming, and there are baby Tilapia which according to Tr. Marie Con [the principal], the fish was imported from the Philippines.
Then around 9am, the program started, but we didn't watch the it, we were busy exploring the farm. It was not that big, plus there are some restricted places that we are not allowed to wander about.
Then after the program, came lunch time, potluck lunch where every participant of the outing is required to bring their share of the food, I was assigned to bring Stir-fry beef with broccoli. There were lots of foodie, it's like Fiesta (festival) at that time, there was Sinigang na baka (Oxtail with Tamarind Soup) Kare-kare, Lengua, Pansit Canton (Chinese Noodle), Inihaw na isda, Bopis, Beef Steak, Spaghetti, Bake Macaroni, and Philippine Delicacy, plus other pastries desserts. [just take my word for it, there were lots of foodie!]
